Task Creation & Scheduling
By default, users that have been assigned admin or project management roles within a project have the right to create and schedule a task. Expert users of the platform can extend this permission to other project team members, however this practice is strongly discouraged as it could affect the user experience of the application.
At the point of creating a task, the task can be assigned to a task owner. The task owner is an entity that will be responsible for executing the task and receive payment for the service. This will be more often than not be the vendor.
As task execution progresses, it is expected that a periodic progress update is shared by either the project manager or vendor executing the task. The periodicity of reporting will be defined by the task stakeholders.
Depending on the agreement, milestone payments can be requested by the task owner.
